Biography:

Barbara Jackson is an occupational therapist, lymphedema therapist and yoga teacher currently living and practicing in Boston MA. She specializes in the lymphatic system, and upper extremity orthopedics and has experience teaching various populations.

Class Description:

Copps hill yoga is a all levels practice open to beginners and long time yogis. We gather every Wednesday night and engage in a flow to promote strength, reduce stress and to build community with one another. I have met some of my best friends by hosting this free class and I hope that you will join! Bring your mat, and anything else that makes you feel comfortable.

Meet Ashley Energetic Healer, Reiki Practitioner and Spirituality Educator.

Class Description:

Chakra alignment meditation is for clearing the mind, relief of daily stresses, enhance self-connection, improve self-esteem and self-love, and for renewing vitality. It does not require any experience in meditation. It is a practice where you will be guided to do your own connection in your unique way and pace. Bring your mat and anything that will make the practice feel sacred and special for you. We will be gathering every Thursday and each week we’ll give more focus to one chakra during the meditation. It’s a great self-care practice and it will help to balance your mind, body and spirit.

Jody Grimm is a holistic, body-centered therapist. She uses a mixture of talk therapy, mindfulness and somatic practices to help clients reclaim the wholeness that is always within them. Jody is also a longtime resident of the North End.

Class Description:

It might sound new and different to you, but what you’ll tap into in this class is actually your body’s most natural way of being. With gentle guidance, you’ll be invited to explore your body’s unique rhythm, and in doing so, begin to access the deep wisdom it holds. This practice can help ease tension and anxiety, transform stuck emotions, and reconnect you with the life within you. No previous experience required. Dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat if you have one. Looking forward to moving with you!
